Justice of the Peace
Town of Brattleboro
I moved to Newfane from Maryland in 1974. I have lived in Brattleboro since the late 1970s. I am a professional book seller dealing in antiquarian, collectible and scholarly books and ephemera. I previously served as the financial officer for Chroma Technology Corp. and before that as the Vice President of Tree Spirit woodenware company. Currently, I am serving as Justice of the Peace in Brattleboro and am a long-time Brattleboro Town Meeting Representative. I have previously served on the River Gallery Art School Board, the Brooks Memorial Library Board, the Town Finance Committee, the BUHS Board, and a number of other local and state boards and committees. During the 40 years that I have lived in Brattleboro and Newfane I have often heard glowing accounts of Holton Home. Recently I spent some time assisting my late mother in a rehabilitation facility in Northern Vermont and I came to appreciate how very important a professional, competent and caring facility is and determined I should do what I can to insure we maintain our great facilities and add more when possible. I was very pleased when the opportunity to serve the Holton Home arose.
