Occupational Therapist – retired
I moved to Vermont in 1986 with my husband Stewart and our animals to restore an old brick cape in Dummerston. In the meantime we fell in love with the community of Brattleboro. I went to work as an Occupational Therapist for the VNA of Vermont and New Hampshire, retiring after 22 years. I had patients at Holton Home and clients through Brattleboro Area Hospice over the years and came to admire the staff, residents, and philosophy of Holton Home care. Now I volunteer with Brattleboro Area Hospice, The Drop in Center, and The West Brattleboro Association. I’ve also begun a part time business of Rug Hooking and Braiding and travel the country teaching these skills to others. I’m an active member in Brattleboro West Arts and The Green Mountain Rug Hooking Guild. I am excited to be part of the Holton Home board during what promises to be an exciting time.
